The Baltimore Center for Plastic Surgery is proud to introduce a new way to help rejuvenate your skin.
We offer microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and peels that eradicate sun damage, improve fine lines, smooth wrinkles, reduce acne and acne scarring, and lighten brown spots. We will help determine which resurfacing depth and/or treatment is right for you. For ideal results, treatments are recommended in a series of 3 or 6.
What is Diamond-Peel Microdermabrasion?
Diamond-Peel Microdermabrasion is a safe, non-invasive skin resurfacing procedure that deeply polishes and stimulates the skin using densely packed laser-cut diamonds to remove dead skin cells and promote the growth of healthy, new cells for a smoother, more radiant and flawless complexion.
The treatment is virtually painless and a facial treatment can be completed in as little as 10-15 minutes. Results will vary depending on the area of the body and the skin condition, but most people can see and feel results after just the very first treatment.
Pristine by Viora
The Baltimore Center for Plastic Surgery utilizes Pristine by Viora to treat a variety of skin conditions ranging from aging, stretch marks, scar tissue, as well as sun exposure and acne. The Pristine system uses laser-cut diamond tips as opposed to the more commonly used crystal-based systems.
By utilizing the Pristine system it allows us access to a wider range of tip sizes for the device, which can help enhance accuracy and precision when performing the procedure. It also provides far less discomfort or irritation than other methods of Microdermabrasion. The diamond tips offer a more efficient, safe, and hygienic experience when compared to other brands. The device is completely silent and user friendly which allows you to relax and be comfortable during the procedure.
The Pristine Microdermabrasion system is designed to be extremely safe, quiet, and effective. It can provide a full facial in roughly 10-15 minutes, where as a crystal-based system can last up to 25 minutes depending on the skin that is being treated. The time needed for procedures on other areas of the body will vary depending on the area being treated.
