Breast Asymmetry Correction

Breast asymmetry correction and enhancement is a way for women to balance the shape and volume of their breasts to create a natural and youthful appearance. Many women with uneven breasts, or a significant size imbalance, choose to have breast enhancement surgery performed. For more severe cases, such as Poland syndrome, breast enhancement is an amazing way to have the symmetrical look that was once thought impossible to achieve.

ABOUT BREAST ASYMMETRY CORRECTION PROCEDURES

To create symmetrical breasts, several procedures can be performed depending on each patient’s situation. Most common procedures include an Asymmetric augmentation in which two implants of varying size are used to create the look of even breasts. A breast lift or augmentation can be done to one breast, or both, depending on the needs of the patient. The last option is a breast reduction which can help re-size a larger breast to mimic the smaller of the two.

RECOVERING FROM A BREAST ENHANCEMENT PROCEDURE

Recovery is dependent on the patient and the procedures needed to create a more symmetrical look in their breasts. On average, recovery can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks, however you’ll receive a better idea of your recovery time when visiting the doctor for consultation.
